M&M has gained 4.3% to Rs 562, Bhel is up 2.3% to Rs 1,444. RComm has gained 1.8% to Rs 547. ICICI Bank is up 1.7% at Rs 781.Tata Motors has surged 1% at Rs 532.
Satyam, Infosys and HDFC Bank have advanced 0.6% at Rs 512, Rs 1,979 and Rs 1,243, respectively. Reliance TCS, Ambuja Cements, Jaiprakash Associates and Reliance Infra have gained less than half per cent.
Hindalco has declined 2.1% at Rs 181 and and Wipro has plunged 1.8% to Rs 528. ITC has dipped 1.7% at Rs 222.
Maruti is down 1.5% at Rs 762. ONGC and HUL have lost 1.4% at Rs 953 and Rs 237, respectively.
Tata Steel, DLF, Ranbaxy, HDFC, Cipla, NTPC, Bharti and L&T are the other losers.
