Mahindra Satyam advances on bagging contracts

The stock finally settled 2% higher at Rs 98.The counter witnessed trades of 8.47 lakh shares on the BSE.

Software firm Mahindra Satyam (earlier Satyam Computer Services) advanced on the back of winning two contracts in Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The stock opened at 96 and touched a high of Rs 98. The scrip is now trading at Rs 98, up 1.5% from its previous close. The counter has clocked volumes of 3.30 lakh shares on the BSE.
