Maize prices fell by Rs 20 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today on sluggish demand.

Elsewhere, other grains moved in a narrow range on restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels.

Traders said adequate stocks against sluggish demand mainly led to fall in maize prices.
