Malka declines on sluggish demand

Malka prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on fall in demand at existing higher levels.  

Traders said fall in demand at prevailing higher levels led to the fall in malka prices.  

In the national capital, malka local and best quality declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,500-3,550 and Rs 3,650-3,750 per quintal, respectively. 

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 4,000-4,400, Urad chilka (local) 4,900-5,300, best 5,400-5,900, Dhoya 5,350-5,450, Moong 4,000-5,000, Dal moong chilka local 5,000-5,400, Moong Dhoya local 5,300-5,500 and best quality 5,900-6,100

Masoor small 3,050-3,250, bold 3,200-3,450, Dal Masoor local 3,600-3,700, best quality 3,900-4,200, Malka local 3,500-3,550, best 3,650-3,750, Moth 2,200-2,500, Arhar 3,450-3,950, dal arhar dara 5,000-5,400

 

Gram 2,225-2,250, gram dal (local) 2,500-2,515, best quality 2,600-2,700, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,190, Rajdhani 1,190, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,400-3,800, China 3,500-4,000, red 3,650-3,750
