Malka, red rajma rise on retailers demand

Prices of malka and rajma red rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on pick-up in retailers demand.

Traders said pick up in retailers demand mainly led to rise in malka and rajma red prices.

In the national capital, malka local and best quality rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,600-3,650 and Rs 3,750-3,850, while rajma red traded higher by the same margin to Rs 3,650-3,750 per quintal respectively.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 4,050-4,450, Urad chilka (local) 4,950-5,350, best 5,450-5,950, Dhoya 5,500-5,600, Moong 4,500-5,500, Dal moong chilka local 5,400-5,800, Moong Dhoya local 5,700-5,900 and best quality 6,300-6,500

 

Masoor small 3,150-3,350, bold 3,300-3,550, Dal Masoor local 3,700-3,800, best quality 4,000-4,300, Malka local 3,600-3,650, best 3,750-3,850, Moth 2,200-2,500, Arhar 3,450-3,950, dal arhar dara 5,000-5,400
