Man Industries soars on Rs 1,100-cr order

Man Industries India climbed 10.26 per cent to close at Rs 61.8 after the company announced that it had bagged orders worth Rs 1,100 crore in different segments of pipe (LSAW/HSAW). With this, the company's order book stands at Rs 1,500 crore.

The firm also announced the commissioning of its third HSAW production line at Anjar, Gujarat. The company will set up 3,00,000 metric tonne capacity HSAW pipe manufacturing plant in Arkansas, US, at a cost of $100 million. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 64.80 and a low of Rs 55.95.
