Manipal, NSE to jointly provide training in stock market

Education service provider Manipal Education today said it has entered into a collaboration with National Stock Exchange (NSE) to launch training programmes in capital market across the country.

The programmes, which will start on June 12, will promote awareness, develop skills and spread knowledge among those who wish to improve their understanding of the markets or build a career in the field, Manipal Education Chief Marketing Officer V Sivaramakrishnan told reporters here.

"We are committed to the cause of education and training leading to skill development. We are delighted to collaborate with the National Stock Exchange in imparting valuable knowledge on capital markets to aspiring learners and those wanting to build a career in the capital markets," he said.

 

The training programmes will be imparted by Manipal Education, with content and methodology provided by the NSE. The programme will include basics of stock markets, derivatives, fundamental and technical analysis.

The programmes will be initially offered in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune and Mangalore and later extended to other cities in phases, Sivaramakrishnan said.

The students, on completion of the course would get joint certification from Manipal and the NSE.
