Shares of personal products maker Marico has moved higher by 4% to Rs 331 on BSE after huge block deal executed on the counter.
About 5.69 million equity shares representing 0.88% of total equity of Marico have changed hands via block deal at price of Rs 320.10 per share, the BSE data shows.
The stock opened at Rs 319 and touched a low of Rs 318 on BSE. Till 1040 hours, a combined 9.35 million shares changed hands on the counter on BSE and NSE.
Meanwhile, on January 9, 2015, Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. (F.I.I) and Sub-Accounts had sold 12.61 million shares or 1.96% stake and Oppenheimer Developing Markets Fund sold 10.83 million or 1.68% stake through open market, Marico said in a statement. The name of the buyers not ascertained immediately.
