Isgec Heavy Engineering shares advance 12% on heavy volumes
Shares of Isgec Heavy Engineering rallied 12 per cent to Rs 344 on the BSE in intra-day trade on Thursday on the back of heavy volumes. At 01:23 pm, the stock was trading 10 per cent higher at Rs 337, as compared to 0.06 per cent rise in the S&P BSE Sensex. Around 655,000 equity shares, representing 0.88 per cent of total equity of the industrial machinery manufacturer, have changed hands on the BSE, so far. BHEL bags orders worth Rs 3,200 cr for hydro projects in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana
State-run engineering firm BHEL on Thursday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 3,200 crore for hydro projects in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. "BHEL has bagged significant orders, valued at Rs 3,200 Crore, for Electro-Mechanical (E&M) works for a Hydro Electric Project (HEP) in Andhra Pradesh and E&M (electrical and mechanical) works of Pump-Motor sets for Lift Irrigation Schemes (LIS) in Telangana," a BHEL statement said. Greenpanel hits new high on capex plan; stock zooms 160% in 3 months
Shares of Greenpanel Industries were locked in the 5 per cent upper limit band at Rs 128, also their new high, on the BSE in Thursday's session after the company's board approved capital expenditure (capex) of Rs 55 crore at its medium-density fibreboard (MDF) plants for better productivity and cost-efficiency. "The board approved the capital expenditure at its MDF plants situated at Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) and Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh) for better productivity and cost-efficiency," Greenpanel said in a BSE filing. AIF registration dips in 2020 as fund managers turn cautious amid Covid-19
The registration of new alternative investment funds (AIFs) may have slowed down for the first time in years in 2020. AIF registrations numbered 88 in 2020, compared to 129 in 2019, a decline of 31.8 per cent and reported for the first time since 2014.
