Torrent Pharma shares tumble 8% post December quarter results
Shares of Torrent Pharmaceuticals dipped 8 per cent to Rs 2,545 on the BSE on Tuesday after the company reported its December quarter (Q3FY21) results, with flat consolidated revenue growth at Rs 1,995 crore, mainly due to 23.4 per cent year on year (YoY) decline in US formulations to Rs 292 crore. Bitcoin tops $48,000 for the first time

Balkrishna Ind's Rs 1,900 cr capex plan sparks profit taking; stock down 8%
Shares of Balkrishna Industries slipped 8 per cent to Rs 1,700 on the BSE in Tuesday's intra-day trade as investors booked profit after the company announced capital expenditure (capex) plan of up to Rs 1,900 crore, which will be funded by internal accruals and debt, if required. The stock of auto tyres and rubber products has corrected 10 per cent from its record high level of Rs 1,885 touched in intra-day trade today. At 10:45 am, it was trading 7 per cent lower at Rs 1,719 as compared to a 0.41 per cent risen in the S&P BSE Sensex. READ MORE

Shareholding of FPIs in listed companies at five-year high, shows data
Shareholding of foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in listed companies is at the highest level in five years. According to the data compiled by PRIME Database, FPIs held 22.74 per cent stake in NSE-listed firms at the end of December 2020, up 123 basis points over September 2020. The increase comes on the back of Rs 1.42 trillion foreign capital flows into domestic stocks during the October-December 2020 period. READ MORE
