UltraTech Cement on Tuesday said it has raised Rs 1,000 crore through allotment of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis. On December 26, the company said it is considering a proposal to raise funds by issuance of 10,000 rated, listed, non-convertible, redeemable, unsecured NCDs of Rs 10,00,000 each aggregating to Rs 1,000 crore on private placement basis on or after December 30, 2020. Infrastructure developer Dilip Buildcon on Tuesday said it has incorporated a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for road project worth Rs 882 crore in Gujarat. "The company has incorporated a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for a new HAM (hybrid annuity mode) project named as Dhrol Bhadra Highways as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dilip Buildcon," the company said in a regulatory filing. Gold prices inch down as dollar recovers; focus turns to Georgia race

Gold prices eased on Tuesday after hitting an eight-week high, as the U.S. dollar recovered from multi-year lows ahead of Senate runoff elections in Georgia that will decide the future path of fiscal stimulus in the world's largest economy. Spot gold dipped 0.1 per cent to $1,939.79 per ounce by 0529 GMT, after hitting its highest since November 9 at $1,945.26 earlier in the session, while U.S. gold futures edged 0.1 per cent down to $1,944.10.
