 HDFC (down Rs 7 to Rs 764), BHEL (down Rs 6 to Rs 854) and Reliance Energy (down Rs 9 to Rs 554) continue to trade lower.

Dr. Reddy's and Cipla are trading with marginally losses at Rs 714 and Rs 258, respectively. Ranbaxy, however, is up Rs 3 at Rs 1,004.

Hero Honda has lost 1.61% (Rs 9) to Rs 528, and Tata Motors is down a per cent (Rs 3) at Rs 469. While Bajaj has clocked a per cent gain (Rs 9) to Rs 1,023, Maruti is up Rs 2 at Rs 474.

ONGC, after a firm opening, is trading at Rs 842 - up Rs 25 or 3%.

Infosys has inched up a per cent (Rs 13) to Rs 2,175, and Satyam is up 1.77% (Rs 7) at Rs 404. Wipro, however, has scaled down 1.76% (Rs 12) to Rs 666.

 Gujarat Ambuja has gained 1.23% (Rs 5) to Rs 434, while Grasim is trading with a steady gain of Rs 4 at Rs 1,331.

 Hindalco is trading firm with a gain of 1.23% (Rs 17) at Rs 1,392, and L&T is up a per cent (Rs 6) at Rs 1,064.
