Unitech Ltd gained 20.29 per cent over the week and 122 per cent for the past month to close at Rs 11,595.20 amid strong buying interest for real estate players and on the news of the company bagging a deal worth Rs 1,582 crore to develop 340 acres of land in Noida.

Unitech was the highest bidder for the Noida Development Authority auction. This deal is the biggest one surpassing Rs 1,104.11 crore deal of Reliance Industries for a property in Mumbai.
