Meanwhile, the PSU major has earmarked about Rs 3200 crore for investment during the eleventh five year plan and increase its capacity from 6000 MW to 15, 000 MW per annum.
It plans to achieve 10,000MW manufacturing capacity by this year-end. The growth plans would be driven by capacity enhancementin the core area of power supported by its industry, transportation, exports and spares and services business.
