The Sensex is now down 180 points at 14,302. The NSE Nifty is down 43 points at 4,294.
DLF has plunged 4.4% to Rs 476. Reliance Infrastrustructure has tumbled 3.7% to Rs 964.
SBI has declined over 3% to Rs 1,330. ICICI Bank has dropped 2.8% to Rs 648.
BHEL has lost 2.4% to Rs 1,680. HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications have slipped 2.3% each at Rs 2,289 and Rs 397, respectively.
Tata Motors has declined 2.2% to Rs 424.
Hindalco has gained over 2% to Rs 138. Tata Steel has advanced 0.7% to Rs 582.
Out of 2,677 stocks traded so far, 1,556 have declined, 1,022 have advanced and 99 are unchanged.
