Benchmark indices staged a sharp recovery in closing deals with the Nifty topping the 6,300 mark and the Sensex coming near to its all time high.
At close, the Nifty was up 47 points at 6,299 and the Sensex gained 108 points to end at 21,141. (Provisional).
