Tata Steel has surged nearly 5% to Rs 628. Reliance Communications has rallied over 4% to Rs 465.
HDFC has moved up 3.7% to Rs 2,161, and ITC has added 3.3% to Rs 185.
ICICI Bank and Hindalco have advanced 3% each to Rs 664 and Rs 147, respectively. Wipro has added 2.7% to Rs 383.
Cipla and SBI have gained 2.3% each at Rs 232 and Rs 1,378, respectively. NTPC is up over 2% at Rs 185.
Maruti has plunged over 8% to Rs 596. Tata Motors has shed 3.5% at Rs 405, and Bharti Airtel has slipped over 1% to Rs 788.
