The Nifty is up 59 points at 3,984.
Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has zoomed 7.6% to Rs 149. Reliance Infrastructure has soared 4.5% to Rs 754.
Reliance Communicatons, Maruti and BHEL have surged around 4% each to Rs 405, Rs 570 and Rs 1,450, respectively.
HDFC and Larsen & Toubro have gained over 3% each to Rs 2,001 and Rs 2,305, respectively.
ITC, DLF and Ranbaxy have moved up over 2.5% each to Rs 174, Rs 392 and Rs 527, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra is up over 2% at Rs 478.
Tata Steel has dropped 2% to Rs 644.
