Markets in recovery mode

Infosys, Bharti, Maruti are leading the up move; L&T sags.

The markets after a subdued start are attempting to recover in the last few minutes of trade. The Sensex is now down 37 points at 17,713.

Infosys, Bharti Airtel and Maruti are the ones which are leading the recovery. Each of them contributing around five odd points to the Sensex.

On the other hand, Capital Goods major - Larsen & Toubro remains the major laggard, down 2.5% at Rs 1,774, and accounting for 33 points loss.

It is followed by Reliance (11 points), SBI and Sterlite (6 points each).

The market breadth is marginally positive - out of 2,744 stocks traded so far, 1,545 have advanced, 1,073 have declined.
