Markets lacklustre in noon trades

Markets have continued to move in the red. The Sensex is now down 83 points at 17,647.

The Nifty is at 5,293 - down 28 points.

The BSE healthcare index is up 1% at 5,810. The consumer durables index has moved up nearly 1% to 4,648.

Among the healthcare stocks - Cipla has jumped 2.3% to Rs 348. Dr Reddy's has added 2% to Rs 1,490. Glaxosmithkline Pharma has gained 1.8% at Rs 2,180.

Orchid Chemicals, Divis Lab and Ranbaxy are among the other stocks which have gained in the sector.

However, the bankex is down 1% at 10,875. HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank are the big losers in the sector. Bank Of Baroda, Union Bank and Federal Bank have also shed over 1% each.
