Markets languishes at lower levels

The Sensex is now at 14,890, down 170 points. The NSE Nifty has shed 60 points at 4,409.

The NSE Nifty is languishing at lower levels and is now at 4,413, down 55 points.

HCL has slipped 4.5% to Rs 219. ABB and Cairn India has dropped above 3.5% to Rs 709 and Rs 236, respectively.

Grasim, SAIL and Cipla have declined above 3% each to Rs 2,692, Rs 166 and Rs 273, respectively.

Hero Honda and TCS are down 2.5% each.

ONGC has surged 5% to Rs 1,096. Sterlite has added 3% to Rs 612. Suzlon and DLF are up 1% each at Rs 92 and Rs 347, respectively.

 

Meanwhile the Sensex is at 14,903, down 156 points. The BSE IT index is down 2% at 3,603.

The market breadth is negative, out of 2,619 shares traded, 1,414 shares have declined and 1,110 shares have declined so far on the BSE.
