Markets off day's high

The markets have slipped from the intra-day highs in the noon deals, the Sensex is at 19,542 up 82 and Nifty is up 13 points at 5879.

Infosys is the top gainer among the sensex stocks trading at Rs 3082 up 2.7%, TCS, HDFC, ICICI Bank and NTPC are othe gainers on the Sensex while DLF, Maruti Suzuki, Jaiprakash Associates, Reliance Infrastructure and Tata power are among the losers on the Sensex.

BSE IT index leads the sectoral pack, the index is up 130 points at 6067, followed by Healthcare, Consumer Durables and Auto indices up more than 0.7% each.

BSE Realty index continue to witness the selling pressure aimid concerns regarding the housing loan scam. The index has shed 102 points or 3.3% at 2939. Capital Goods, Metal, and PSU indices are also trading in the red down 0.32%

D B realty is the top loser followed by HDIL, Ackruti City and Orbit Corp down more than 4% each.

Meanwhile, the broader markets have slipped into the red, the mid-cap index is at 7979 down 24 points and small-cap index is down three points at 10,150.
