Markets range-bound; Satyam gains nearly 8%

The Sensex is now trading 55 points higher to 9771.

The Nifty is up 9 points at 2989.

Satyam has gained further and is now up 7.94% at Rs 173.35. Jaiprakash Associates has gained 4% to Rs 87, Tata Motors and M&M have gained over 3% each to Rs 161 and Rs 279 respectively. RCom, Tata Steel, L&T and Tata Power are up 2% each.

Infosys has lost 1.25% to Rs 1,111 and Sterlite is down 1.1% to Rs 262. ONGC and Wipro are down 0.9% to Rs 665 and Rs 233.
