The markets have rebounded and is now up in the green following the November IIP numbers. The Nifty is up 12 points at 5,259.
The Sensex is up 46 points at 17,573.
The November Index of Industrial Production (IIP) stood at 11.7% vs 2.5% a year ago.
Bharti Airtel has moved up 1% to Rs 333 after announcing a deal to acquire 70% of Bangladesh based Warid Telecom. Infosys has gained on good Q3 numbers.
The market breadth on NSE is positive. 818 stocks have advanced while 456 have declined.

TCS and Wipro have surged 4.5% each to Rs 746 and Rs 691, respectively. HCL Tech and Infosys have rallied 4% each.
Siemens has gained 2% at Rs 600. Suzlon and NTPC have added 1.5% each to Rs 92 and Rs 233, respectively.
Tata Power and IDFC are the other major gainers.
However, Sterlite has slipped 3% to Rs 905. ITC has dropped 2% to Rs 252.
Ambuja Cements, ICICI Bank, BHEL and SBI are the other losers in the Nifty today.
