Jaiprakash Associates has surged 6% to Rs 145, and HDFC Bank has rallied 5.7% to Rs 955.
TCS, Larsen & Toubro and DLF have moved up 5.5% each to Rs 768, Rs 2,397 and Rs 416, respectively.
Tata Motors has advanced 5% to Rs 415, and SBI has added 4.5% to Rs 1,189.
Satyam, ACC and ICICI Bank are up over 4% each at Rs 411, Rs 536 and Rs 541, respectively.
Ranbaxy has plunged over 5% to Rs 446. Tata Steel has shed 3.5% at Rs 603.
