Stock markets will be closed on April 24, 2014 on account of voting to be held for the general elections in constituencies in Mumbai.
“The Exchange hereby notifies Thursday, April 24, 2014 as a trading holiday on account of Parliamentary Elections in Mumbai,” said a notice on the NSE website.
The March derivatives contracts expiry, which was to be held on the same day, has now been pushed one-day ahead to April 23, 2014, said a notice on the BSE website.
