Maruti, Siemens to announce earnings today

A heavy sell-off yesterday could see the Sensex open lower today. Nearing of the derivatives expiry is likely to weigh on the index.

On the downside, the index has a fairly good support around 11,520-11,490 levels. A upmove could see the index face resistance around the 11,770 levels.

Following companies are scheduled to announce their earnings today and hence the stocks could be in action - Aptech, CESC, Essel Propack, Godrej Consumers, Indiainfoline, Maruti, Merck, Siemens, Wartsila and United Breweries.
