Maruti Suzuki is trading higher by 1% at Rs 1,440 after the company sold 112,554 vehicles in November 2010, including 10,051 units in the overseas markets. The company had sold 87,807 vehicles in the corresponding period last year.
For the second consecutive month, the auto maker has crossed 1 lakh units sales mark in the domestic market in November 2010, with 102,503 units, the company said in a press release.
The company's sales in November 2010 grew by 32% in A2 segment and 27% in the A3 segment, compared to the same period last year. The sales growth in the C segment was 77% over November 2009, the statement added.
The stock of Maruti Suzuki opened at Rs 1,422 and touched a high of Rs 1,448 on the BSE. Around 25,000 shares have changed hands on the counter so far.
