Masoor, its dal prices up on retailers demand

Barring a rise in masoor and its dal prices on retailers demand, the wholesale pulses market held steady today.

Other commodities, however, moved in a narrow range in limited deals and closed around previous levels.

Traders said pick up in retailers demand mainly pushed up wholesale masoor and its dal prices.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold prices gained Rs 50 each to Rs 2,900-3,100 and Rs 3,100-3,350, while its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 3,700-3,800 and Rs 3,950-4,250 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per  quintal:
