May AUMs rise by 5.3%

Total AUMs stand at Rs 6,00,525 crore as of May, up from Rs 5,69,949 crore in April, according to data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

Anil Ambani-promoted Reliance Mutual Fund saw a 2 per cent increase in AUMs and managed to retain its top position with Rs 98,431 crore. "We have grown in equity and long-term debt (1-year plus FMPs)," said Vikrant Gugnani, chief executive officer of Reliance Mutual Fund.

 

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has regained its second spot with AUM of Rs 59,060 crore. UTI Mutual Fund is third with AUM of Rs 54,652 crore.

However, HDFC Mutual Fund witnessed the biggest rise in assets among the top five fund houses.
