Medium sugar prices eased at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to reduced offtake from stockists and retailers.
While, small sugar variety continued to display mixed pattern of trading on alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar (M-30) slipped by Rs 5/7 per quintal to Rs 2,866/3,001 from Monday's closing level of Rs 2,873/3006.
Small sugar (S-30), however, were quoted at Rs 2,816/2,856 as against Rs 2,808/2,862 yesterday.
