Medium sugar eases on weak demand

Medium sugar prices eased further at the Vashi Wholesale market here today on lack of demand from retailers amidst ample stock positions.  

Meanwhile, small sugar variety witnessed a mixed pattern of trading owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling. 

Medium sugar quality (M-30) moved down by Rs six per quintal to Rs 2,866/2,931 from overnight closing level of Rs 2,872/2,931. 

Small sugar quality (S-30) were quoted at Rs 2,841/2,875 as against Rs 2,850/2,871 yesterday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,841/2,875 (Rs 2,850/ 2,871) and medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,866/2,931 (Rs 2,872/2,931)
