Medium sugar prices firmed up at the Vashi wholesale market here today on better offtake from stockists and bulk consumers.
While, small sugar variety moved down owing to reduced retail buying.
Medium sugar (M-30) gained Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,786/ 2,881 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 2,776/2,881.
Small sugar (S-30), however moved down by Rs 5 per quintal to Rs 2,726/2,761 as compared to Rs 2,731/2,761 last weekend.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,786/2,881 (Rs 2,776/ 2,881)
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,726/2,761 (Rs 2,731/ 2,761)
