Mega contract lifts Infotech Enterprises up 5%

Infotech Enterprises jumped up 5.49 per cent to Rs 350.40 as compared with it's previous days close of Rs 332.15. The price of the scrip moved up sharply after the the company won a major GIS contract from KPN.

This is one of the largest single-vendor GIS contract awarded by the global telecom industry to an offshore services firm. Infotech Enterprises, is a dominant player in the software space of engineering services and geographical information systems (GIS). The company's net sales rose 23 per cent to Rs 41.76 crore for the quarter ended June 05.
