Mentha oil down 0.4% on increased arrivals, weak demand

Oil for delivery in May declined by 0.4%

Press Trust of India New Delhi
Mentha oil prices fell Rs 3.70 to Rs 814 per kg in futures trade today due to increased arrivals in physical markets from the major producing belts.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in June fell by Rs 3.70, or 0.45%, to Rs 814 per kg, with a business turnover of 208 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in May declined by Rs 3.30, or 0.40%, to Rs 805.40 per kg in 55 lots.

Market analysts attributed the fall in mentha oil futures to offloading of positions driven by increased arrivals from producing regions amid weak demand.
