Mentha oil falls 0.9% on profit-booking

New arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also influenced the market

Mentha oil futures for March fell Rs 12.30, or 0.94%, to Rs 1,295.90 per kg in 135 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February contract traded Rs 7.40, or 0.51% lower at Rs 1,428 per kg in 457 lots.

Prices fell due to profit-booking by speculators at existing higher levels against new arrivals.

Subdued domestic demand impacted the Mentha oil future trade.

New arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also influenced the market.
