Mentha oil prices rose 1.33 per cent to Rs 884.70 per kg in futures market today as speculators enlarged their positions, supported by a rising demand from consuming industries in the spot market.
Tight supplies in the physical market following less arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also put pressure on mentha oil.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in December rose by Rs 11.60, or 1.33 per cent, to Rs 884.70 per kg in business turnover of 610 lots.
