Mentha oil rises by 1.01% on high demand

Less arrivals from Chandausi influenced the prices

Mentha oil futures for January shot up by Rs 14.40 or 1.01%, to Rs 1,428.90 per kg in 478 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract jumped up by Rs 8.10, or 0.56% to Rs 1,438.10 per kg in 60 lots.

Increased domestic and export demand alongside lower supply supported the mentha futures.

Less arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also influenced the prices.
