Press Trust of India New Delhi
Snapping its two-day losing trend, mentha oil prices rebounded by 0.11% to Rs 841.50 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions after pick up in demand in the spot market.

Tight supplies in the physical market following less arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also supported the uptrend.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in October traded higher by 90 paise, or 0.11%, to Rs 841.50 per kg in business turnover of 216 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November contract edged up by 70 paise, or 0.08%, to Rs 853.70 per kg in 246 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise in mentha oil in futures trade to fresh positions created by speculators after pick up in demand in the spot market.
