Mentha oil up 0.3% on spot demand

Marketmen attributed the rise in mentha oil at futures trade to pick-up in overseas and domestic demand at spot markets

Mentha oil prices rose by 0.36% to Rs 858 per kg in futures trade today as speculators engaged in creating positions on firm domestic as well as export demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for November rose by Rs 3.10, or 0.36%, to Rs 858 per kg, with a business volume of 32 lots.

The oil for October delivery rose by Rs 2.90 or 0.34%, to Rs 844.40 per kg, with a trading volume of 224 lots.

Marketmen attributed the rise in mentha oil at futures trade to pick-up in overseas and domestic demand at spot markets amid lower arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh.
