Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 3.50 to Rs 807.20 per kg in futures trade today as traders engaged in creating positions amid strong demand at spot markets from consuming industries.

Besides, restricted arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also influenced prices.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in June rose by Rs 3.50, or 0.43%, to Rs 807.20 per kg, with a trading volume of 297 lots.

The prices for delivery in July also rose by Rs 2.80, or 0.34%, to Rs 819 per kg, with a business turnover of 97 lots.
