Mentha oil up 0.7% on pick up in spot demand

Good demand from consuming industries triggered the uptrend

Mentha oil futures for March gained Rs 8.80, or 0.68%, to Rs 1,294.60 per kg in 105 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February contract edged up by Rs 7.30, or 0.50%, to Rs 1,438.80 per kg in 265 lots.

Prices rose as traders created positions on account of good demand from consuming industries and lower arrivals.
