Menthol prices fell further by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today due to lack of demand from consuming units amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also put pressure on the prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 10 each to Rs 1,370, Rs 1,340 and Rs 1,250 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units against increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh markets put pressure on the menthol prices.
