Menthol prices traded marginally lower by Rs 5 per kg at the local chemical market today on sluggish demand against increased arrival.
However, trading activity remained restricted due to rise in mercury. Marketmen said subdued demand against increased supply mainly led to fall in menthol prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices were down by Rs 5 each to Rs 865, Rs 835 and Rs 780 per kg, respectively.
