Menthol prices up on short supply

Menthol prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today largely supported by short supplies from producing belts amid rising domestic and export demand.

Menthol bold crystal,menthol flake and mentha oil prices rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,250, Rs 1,225 and Rs 1,170 per kg, respectively.

Market analysts said apart from tight supplies, rising domestic and export demand, also influenced prices of mentha oil at the wholesale chemical market here.
