In an otherwise steady wholesale local chemical market, menthol prices recovered by Rs 5 per kg on fresh demand.
Elsewhere, prices continued to trade in a tight range on lack of worthwhile buying activity and settled around previous levels.
Traders said fresh industrial demand helped menthol prices to move up.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices were up by Rs 5 each to settled at Rs 1,350, 1,310 and Rs 1,260 per kg, respectively.
