Menthol recovers on short supply

Menthol prices recovered by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on short supplies from producing belts amid rising domestic and export demand.

Menthol bold crystal,menthol flake and mentha oil prices rose by Rs 5 to Rs 1,465, Rs 1,385 and Rs 1,325 per kg, respectively.

Marketmen said apart from tight supply, rising domestic and export demand, mainly pushed up the prices of mentha oil at the wholesale chemical market here.
