Menthol prices maintained its upward march and added another Rs 5 per kg in the local chemical market today on the back of increased demand.
Traders said rising demand from pharmaceutical and other consuming industries against tight supply, mainly led to rise in menthol prices.
In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, menthol flake and mentha oil prices added Rs 5 each to Rs 1,400, Rs 1,330 and Rs 1,230 per kg, respectively.
