Menthol rises on fresh buying

Menthol prices rose upto Rs 15 per kg in the national capital today on fresh buying support from the consuming industries. Tight stocks position, fall in supplies from the producing belts also supported the prices.

Menthol bold crystal, menthol flake and mentha oil prices rose in the range of Rs 5-15 to Rs 920, Rs 890 and Rs 815 per kg, respectively. Marketmen said fresh buying support from pharma and other consuming industries, led to a rise in the prices.
