Menthol prices fell by Rs 15 per kg in the national capital today, owing to reduced offtake by consuming units.
In addition, increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh (UP) also weighed on the prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell up to Rs 15 to Rs 1,040, Rs 1,000 and Rs 955 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units against increased arrivals from producing belts in UP markets, mainly led the decline in menthol prices.
